Thankful for..

Well I am certainly thankful for my three boys. Ender is getting to be such a BOY. He isn't a toddler at all. He wants to do what big boys do and you just can't tell him differently. Judge is precious. He loves playing with his soccer team. Yesterday he scored 5 goals for his team. They won 5 to 1. He is such an aggressive little slugger. Raiden just melts my heart at times. He is reading books with REAL sentences he says. Not just simple words. It makes me realize that he is growing up so fast. To think six years ago he was just a baby in my arms...

Changes

Well it is the season for change isn't it?

My littlest brother is on a mission in Mexico. My oldest boy is a first grader. My middle child is deciding "Play School" isn't such a bad thing. My baby isn't a baby and thinks stairs are just nifty! We are unpacking and trying to make a home out of our new town house. Kale is learning what it is like to be home more often ALONE with the children. I am working a twenty-four hour a week job.

So yes, change is pretty prevalent in our lives right now. It is amazing how you can cruise along not aware of how you have become comfortable with your life no mater how crazy or hectic it can be, and then through change you see what you had...sometimes it is a bad thing...hopefully not often, and others...you feel so blessed to be able to move out of that spot in your life.

We aren't settled yet, but I am already seeing this place as a better thing. It would really be hard for it not to be compared to the old place. The space is wonderful, and as soon as we get everything put away we will really start to enjoy it.

Hopefully with this change I will be able to remain in contact with everyone better. So talk to you all soon!

Act of Congress

Yes! They did it! They sent me a mandate to actually write on my blog. Okay, not really. It is just easier to write on the family blogs, and forget about the personal one...

Let's see catch up time.

School is out for the summer, sorta yippee! The boys love being with each other, but they love to fight and what not too so it can make for a long day.

Ender is walking like a pro and climbing like one too. I think one day we might have a jumper on our hands...he also has eight teeth.

Our family reunion is coming up next weekend. We are so excited. When it hits the 100 degree mark down here we are always ready to vacate the area. It ought to be interesting. We haven't gone camping with Ender since he was a new little guy so lets see how this one works out.

PSYCH

I was so excited about a job interview I had today. I thought things were going good, and the possibility of a new job always helps, and add to that the opportunity to move out of here.... But they called to cancel the interview yesterday. I am supposed to receive a call to reschedule...lets see how that works..

Girl Time

I am so excited! It is finally here! Our somewhat annual girl trip to Vegas! I know, I know. I live eighty miles from Vegas so why am I excited? Because of the girl trip part! It has been a while since I have done anything with a bunch of girls. I am constantly surrounded by testosterone abounding boys. The change in scenery will be most welcome. Three days, two nights of shopping or whatever our girly hearts desire, or can afford.

Plus I will get to see my cuz Ashley. I don't know the last time I was able to do something with her. With her moving all over Utah, and me having the three boys to look after our schedules don't really mesh. So here's to the good times. May they be fun while we are having them, and may they last a long time...

My party so I will....

No, not cry if I want to, but sometimes I do....

If you would have told me when I was younger what my life is like today, I don't know how I would have handled it. I am so happy we have three beautiful boys, but other than that...I don't know....

Mesquite is not my favorite place in the world. In fact, I don't know if it would make my top fifty. I highly doubt it. The summer heat will be hitting us soon. Right now we are having temps in the 80's. Too hot to soon.

Having my days divided between Judge and Ender makes life interesting to say the least. They are not polar opposites, but sometimes they might as well be. Judge is constantly going and trying to drag me with him...usually in the wrong direction. Ender feed him, change him, and let him outside and you probably wouldn't hear a peep out of him till he needed food or another diaper change. But they do make my eyes want to cross sometimes. You want to blow a whistle or horn and yell FREEZE! I wonder if that would work? Probably for Judge, but it might just scare Ender.

I am anxious to get out of this apartment we are currently renting. I know there are woes wherever you go, and that in a renting situation we will probably never be truly happy, but give me a BREAK! or at least ear protectors. Something to drown out the noise....

Isn't it given that if you live below someone that you will be getting at least sound residuals from them just being the normal person, let alone throw three small children into the deal? I am tired of constantly being blasted, and by blasted I mean you can make out the lyrics, the music and feel the bass in your stomach, by annoying music. Everything from hard rock, rap and of course Avril Levigne. It would be nice not to have to worry that oops, Judge slammed the door and then jumped off of his couch! Now to be blasted for 52 minutes and 34 seconds.

Well the good news is, we only have five, not quite six months of renting here, and then we hopefully will find somewhere else to live. I really pray that we find something very time consuming to do with our summer so that we aren't home much!!

In the mean time, at least I have those wonderful moments with the boys that crop up. Playing games, telling eachother stories, and my current favorite, rocking Ender to sleep at night...having him fall asleep in my arms has to be the most rewarding, wonderful thing in the world. You don't know how glorious it feels to have this little bounding piece of heaven snuggle into your arms and drop into a deep sleep. A definite feel good moment.

Long time

It has been a while hasn't it? Sad thing is, one of the things keeping me busy is working on family blogs. So mine can suffer in silence. Oh, well. Lots has happened. Christmas being the main thing. The kids loved visiting their grandparents. I hate making them leave when they are having such a good time.

Ender is army crawling all over the place. I can't tell if he just hasn't figured out the knees and hands approach, or if this works so well for him that he is going to stick with it.

But anywho, they had a great time and all were amazed at how much the boys have grown since they last saw them.

Raiden is patiently waiting for his birthday and Judge is struggling with potty-training. I hope within the next few weeks it wont be struggling anymore, but accomplished.

Other than that I am all work. I am in the process of deciding whether or not to separate the boys sleeping arrangements. We get so tired of the fighting. We think that maybe having separate places to go might help diffuse the situation...
